i.
Do you accept walk-ins, or do I need to book?
+
Walk-ins are welcome any time of year, but the cathedral-view rooms book ahead, especially around Easter, Christmas, and conference season. For peace of mind, write or call and we'll hold a room for the night.
ii.
Is parking secure?
+
Yes, 22 secure spaces inside the gate, with 24-hour security on the property. Free for residents, and free for diners taking lunch or tea with us.
iii.
Can the house arrange an airport pickup?
+
Yes, we work with two trusted drivers. A pickup from Entebbe is UGX 180,000 in a saloon, UGX 280,000 in a 4×4. Confirm 24 hours ahead.
iv.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
+
Always. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options are available at every meal. Please tell us when you reserve, so the kitchen can plan ahead, and again on arrival.
v.
Are children welcome?
+
Wholeheartedly. Our double rooms suit small families, and cots are available at no charge for children under two. The garden is fenced, the staff are kind, and the children's afternoon is on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
vi.
Can we hold a wedding or a wake here?
+
Yes, small weddings up to ninety, christenings, post-funeral lunches, anniversary dinners. The cathedral next door handles the service; we handle the meal and the guests. Speak to our events coordinator.
vii.
What's the cancellation policy?
+
Cancellations more than 7 days ahead are refunded in full. Within 7 days, we charge for one night. We are flexible for genuine illness and travel disruptions, just tell us.
viii.
Is the cathedral really right next door?
+
It really is. A hundred metres from our front gate. You'll hear the bells four times a day. If that's a feature, you'll love it. If it's a deal-breaker, the back garden rooms hardly hear them at all.
